I heard of this way of socialising from a teacher friend in Budapest.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have been a registered member since 2009. I hosted young people in 2013 and 2014,and have had visitors quite frequently ever since. I was hosted by great CS friends in Iran, Turkey and Poland in 2014. All were memorable and positive encounters.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer my guests a welcome drink, plenty of coffee and tea daily, in fair weather a short cruise on the river Danube, a night drive throughout the city, showing the stunning view from Gellért Hill. In summer a weekend away in our village house in the rolling land in the South of Hungary is also possible.
