🏳️‍🌈 My name is Mark.

✨ I use Couchsurfing from 2020 (everyone remembers what a "sweet" year that was, right?). It just so happened that before the first wave of Coronavirus, I went on my first trip to Europe with my partner. And, as soon as we left one country, its borders closed, its hostels and hotels too. It was shocked! And in this difficult time, Couchserfing came to our rescue! It's amazing. In the midst of a crisis, we were able to connect with very friendly people. So we were convinced that Couchsurfing is MORE than just a free couch.

🌎 I was living in Russia, and I left that country 2 years ago. Because Russia started a bloody war, and it was impossible for me to stay there.
And I moved to Germany because of my position. It was a decision based on the desire to live freely and openly. Germany became for me as a symbol of a new life where I can be myself.
