About Me

Hello!
My name is Mark, I am 29 and I love to explore the world. I am a native of Michigan, USA. I am a rather simple guy who doesn't require much. I'm easygoing, open-minded, and friendly to all whom I encounter. I love talking/meeting new people (a big extrovert), exploring, learning (especially about history and culture), and solving problems. Also doing headstands is kinda my thing. I am a practicing Catholic, and its important to me. I respect all people of any or no religious affiliations - we are all human.
My life motto's:
1. Pursue Truth.
2. Everything in Moderation (within the moral bounds)
3. Seek to understand before being understood.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Good question.! I heard about this many years ago and it intrigued me quite a bit. I love the idea of opening your home and sharing experiences with others from around the world. I'm a pretty open-minded guy and think that this is a great way to step out of your comfort zone and meet new people, ideas, and cultures, and expand your point of view. To date I have only couchsurfed once, but the time I did it was a complete blast!

Interests

I'm a geek and love technology and science - so everything new and advancing in these areas I try keep updated on. I'm a big fan of riddles and puns (but know when to stop if people are annoyed with them). I love ultimate frisbee and cross country running. I love learning in general, especially about weird and interesting things/facts. I love talking about personalities (Meyer-Briggs) and the psychology of the brain and social constructs.

I love love love to DANCE!

I'm big on art, movies, science, fantasy novels , and recently into anime.

I am an entrepreneur at heart and love to help others on thier business journeys where I can.

One thing that you should know about me is that I have no interest in professional sports (American football, baseball, basketball, and football)...If you talk about them with me I will just smile and nod with you in complete ignorance, hahaha.
