About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Cycling down the Pacific coast, honouring a pledge made with friends.
ABOUT Me
I've spent most of the last 10 years travelling, in between working menial jobs in the UK to fund my adventures. I'm friendly, opinionated, a good cook and a gracious guest.
PHILOSOPHY
"wheresoever you go, go with all your heart."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined Couchsurfing whilst in India about 6 years ago to get to know Mumbai from a more local perspective. Since then I have met some wonderful people and am continually amazed by the good nature of strangers. The fact that this site works so well is a testament to humanity.

Music, Movies, and Books
Listening to a lot of Jazz at the moment, interspersed with grunge, folk and old punk as light relief.
I'm very passionate about film and literature.
In the UK I go to my local independent cinema most weeks and I'm slowly filling in the gaps in my classic film knowledge. Favourite directors include Tarkovsky, Ken Loach, Mike Leigh, Cronenberg, Lynch, Wes Anderson.
Henry Miller was my literary hero throughout the early part of my twenties, his passion and tenacity provided the perfect landscape for my thoughts whilst I was lost and roaming in a state of indulgent hedonism. Now I read what comes along, wth a tendency towards classics, I love the old Russians.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
today was nice
Teach, Learn, Share
We have a huge barrel of wine, but no cups. That's fine with us.
Every morning we glow and in the evening we glow again.
They say there's no future for us. They're right.
Which is fine with us.
