About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To enjoy the world and get to know the people who live in it! See the contrast, understand the contrasts, learn something from them and hopefully make a change for the better somewhere down the line! While having a lot of fun of course!!!
ABOUT ME
"This (not so anymore…) young man is an adventurer that has been living in Sweden for most of his life. He has a great passion for other cultures and world history. He is half Greek half Swedish, or as a surfer once expressed it, full and full. He's currently 38 yrs old/young and think life is way to short to be wasted with negative thoughts, silly nonsense and closed minded views".
I believe that nothing is impossible and the impossible is nothing without a try at it. Whatever you want you can get if you just want it bad enough. But it's also it's up to those more privilege to help others so that we can uplift and contain a balance in life. Therefore If you have you should give to those who don't have.
I'm open minded and like to exchange ideas. During the years I've been working a lot with music and movie making/film although I never have made it out of the amateur league. I'm impulsive and passionate about everything I do and not afraid of new adventures, perspectives or making new friends...
My home is everyone's home!! But I do NOT accept drugs/narcotics of any kind!!
PHILOSOPHY
"Nothing is impossible, and impossible is nothing"
Wherever you want to go, there is a way to get there. But never forget those who aren't as privileged as you might be.I live as much as I can by the day although I think a lot and reflect a lot upon the things I come across and see. To add to that, I'm very, very, very... spartan of myself. Even though I love food sometimes it's but a complement next to breathing :P
I usually travel by my own and I'm never afraid of trying anything new, whatever it might be -try my- as long as it's not self destructive or addictive in a self destructive way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Always keeping an open door booth mentally and in real life! The next man/woman is my best man/woman, help those who could be you!
And like the saying goes:
"Never close the door with your ass"
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The list of CS'ers I hosted, met or surfed with has steadily been growing during my years as a member. And I have learned so much, met so many wonderful persons -who I consider to my friends today- and been shown new ways of thinking, viewing the world and taking part in it. For this I will always be grateful. CS is a great step in the right direction and I hope it will always be!

Music, Movies, and Books
I really enjoy strange artistic movies that you have to see a thousand times and still don't really really get everything. Otherwise beautiful movies are nice and enjoyable! But of course there is also movies who are just great because of the plot and because they are... simply great!!
Mainly I listen to Hip Hop-music (golden area), but I love music, live music and music culture so I listen to everything I like. You will most definitely catch me listening to Greek music or old progg music in form of Bob Dylan or some Swedish singer. I have a really hard time with commercial music with no message though. I'm more of a lyrics listener!
Books, well I do read a lot, I like everything from a good novel to Harry Potter, from poetry to detective novels and political self biography's or scripts. But honestly nothing beats a really good Don Rosa Donald Duck story ;)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My first interail travel through east of Europe. It was truly amazing, seeing, hearing and experiencing a new culture everyday!
Walking the "Camino de Santiago" or "the way of st. James" as it is called in English. 800km+ on foot, tons of blisters and meeting people from all over the globe. Incomparable to the most of things and highly recommended!!!
My trip to Latin America and my first time outside of Europe. So many beautiful sights, warm people and amazing life memories.
Running My marathon through the Sahara desert and living with the refugees in the camps of the west Sahara.
... And sure I'll find more to write here soon...
Teach, Learn, Share
I believe we all teach & learn each day! By our interests and skills, people we meet, situations we go through and daily life experience.
"If we begin to share most certainly will we become both the teacher and the student"
or what I really mean is that...I want to learn everything, to be able to teach everyone so that we can share everything!
