I and my wife live and work in Amsterdam. We are looking for friends and are always happy to meet new people. We are somewhat old-school guys. :) We like classical art, theater, literature, history, etc. But if you are up for a jazz jam session, I will be happy to join on a bass.

Various music with a bias towards blues and jazz: Adrew Lloyd Webber, Chick Corea, Marcus Miller, John Patitucci, Queen, and some Russian artists (like Aquarium).

La Grande Bellezza, Forrest Gump, The Lone Ranger, La Vita E Bella, The King's Speech, and many Russian movies.

Books... Mostly Russian classics (e.g., Gogol, Dostoevsky, Andrei Bely, Brodsky), but also Teodor Gofman, Emile Zola, Anatole France, Jonathan Swift.

I can certainly teach you some computer science, but I would prefer to share my experience, knowledge and ideas on music, art, books, history, etc. And also learn something of this kind.
