I'm a freelance photojournalist that has traveled most of the country working for clients or telling stories that have captured my interest. My background is in Political Science and Middle East Studies and while I live in New York City for work, I've got a soft spot for the Midwest.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

If I'm looking for a place to stay it's because I have a story I care a ton about that I want to do on my own and can't afford a hotel. I'm always interested to hear people's stories while I travel so I'm happy to be as social (or not) as you'd like, but I'm on Couchsurfing mostly in hopes that people will help me as I pursue under-reported issues.
