Learn. Explore. Have memorable experiences and great conversations.
ABOUT ME
I'm a recent Canadian grad working abroad in the UK, soon moving to the US. I love travel and meeting new people.
PHILOSOPHY
I'll borrow from Wayne Gretzky and say 'you miss 100% of the shots you don't take.'
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have a small space here in Godalming, and will hopefully have something similar in the US. Other than that, I try to be a good surfer, and spread the word about couch surfing whenever possible.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
As a recent convert to CouchSurfing, I don't have too many stories yet. But, I did have a memorable experience in Bratislava, where a friend and I helped our hosts to build 30 - yup, 30 - Ikea bookcases before a traditional Slovakian meal. It was a great time, and the kind of story you can only get by CouchSurfing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Went skydiving over Southern Ontario! More recently, I was visiting the UK House of Commons when the announcement was made that the UK would begin operations against the Libyan government. For a political nerd, this was a real moment in history, watching PM Cameron announce that bombing would begin.
Last week, I added another great moment when I watched Anada beat the US at the International Ice Hockey Championships in Slovakia. The game was a nailbiter, and it was amazing to cheer Canada on.
Teach, Learn, Share
I teach ice skating here in the UK!
