About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel the whole of West Coast United States and land in Miami, before going to Cayman Islands for a visit!

ABOUT ME

I love to travel, and I'd be an attentive listener to anyone who talks about their own travels!

I love music, and the awesomest music festival I've been to is Coachella 2013, where I couchsurfed and made a lot of new friends! It was a real treat and I'd like to do it again!

I love spontaneity, meeting new people by random chance, like I did when I landed in LAX one day and hitched a ride from two awesome guys (now my friends) to Coachella, thereafter ending up camping with them for Coachella.

I love writing for my own pleasure, and I enjoy a good poem from time to time.

I do a little bit of photography in my free time, and hopefully I will be a travel journalist in future.

Music is my drug, and I am open to all sorts of genres but I definitely love indie music the best.

I love fashion, especially the eclectic kind!

PHILOSOPHY

Carpe Diem - Dead Poet's Society
Travel widely, see the world, enjoy the sights, know the people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have lived for four days in a home in Yellowknife, NWT and it was an amazing experience to live with locals. I have also couchsurfed with a couple in Bechoko (a first nation village in NWT) which was also a fantastic experience!

I have also camped together with CSers at Coachella 2013 at the mega CS campsite and had loads of fun going to different stages to catch different acts; at the same time learning more about each other and widening my music appreciation!

Recently, I couchsurfed with Todd and Michael in Tampa, FL; it was a really wonderful time spent with them. I learnt a new game called Greed (which I assure you is a lot of fun, so if I ever meet you, remember to ask me about this dice game!), and they were very accommodating to me. If only the world was filled with people like Todd and Michael!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen ethereal and amazing Northern Lights in Bechoko, at the Northwest Territories in Canada!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have learnt that the best way to beat frostbite/freezing fingers in the winter is to occasionally rest your fingers on your neck. Best practice ever!
