ABOUT ME

I do whatever, I am into guitar and gardening, I am a non smoker and mostly non-drinker. I don't have a TV. If you invite me to do something athletic, I will probably come along. I have lots of books but no time to read them. I almost never eat out.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't take sides. I just don't know anything for sure really. Any belief I have is fleeting, and must be recognized as a feeling that is only applicable to the present moment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We had a couch surfer here once and actually hosted a couch surfing party. I surf as well as attend some events, mostly potluck. I love potlucks. I try to host surfers but it doesn't always work out because roommates make things a little complicated.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In the more distant history, I used to crash on friends's couches a lot. I even set up a tent in my buddy's yard. I have couch surfed through this site in places as exotic as Indianapolis, IN, and Charleston, WV.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in a garage for a month? Swam with stingrays? Was followed down route 101 in Oregon in the middle of a pitch black night by blinking yellow lights through the winding road in the middle of the woods. I don't want to say UFO, but... it was pretty interesting.

I blew glass, I can do some scripting and perl programming, bike repair? Explaining and predicting natural phenomena by applying the laws of physics? Canning, making kombucha, a little music theory.
