About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meeting you and helping to pick the ants out of your hair. Also working on a bike share project.

ABOUT ME

Sometimes I walk down the street and cannot help but smile at myself in puddles without knowing why. I'm a San Francisco native and find this to be my favorite city.

PHILOSOPHY

You and everyone else deserves the best. Contributing to the good, to prove that even encountering the unknown can be friendly, compassionate, and caring. This is what I would like to see achieved in life, to overcome 'hatred'. Traveling I've met some of the most stimulating people, who after ten minutes I would trust with life on the road. It's these moments that I'm looking to create more of.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i will take you by the hand across a land you need help crossing.

Hosting more and more after my own surfing experiences have proven to be beyond wonders.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Every host taught me about their language and culture, took me to bars, clubs, museums, parks, tram stops, iced-over rivers, and grandma dinners. I could never buy them enough beers to express my gratitude.

Hosting others helps me see my city through a fresh perspective.

Interests

city bicycling for transportation, for enterntainment, for running out of breath. building bicycles, fiddling with their organs. silly ultimate frisbee games, skateboarding, partying, writing and reading, teaching myself how to fingerpick the guitar, playing piano, dancing, pondering how lightning forms over a beer, then two, then i lose count, voyaging the better with the lesser planning, tossing the bullshit out the window and having momentous conversations with new people that leave me confused and elated

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A recent backpacking trip through the eastern sierras for five days opened my eyes to what it's like living without society, and i thought it was wonderful. just you and some friends, a stove, a water pump, some dehydrated food, bottle of whiskey and some tents. makes me wish i was a wild animal sometimes.
ps. drunking at high altitudes is unlike the drinking we know at sea level. try it

Also witnessing a shooting star in while peeing on redwood treeeeees!
