One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My Journey Through Life threatening illness : A Story of Resilience and Alternative Healing
(pictures in my profile that show the progress)

In 2020, I faced one of the biggest challenges of my life when I was diagnosed with a rare disease . What followed was an intense month-long stay in an isolation oncology ward, where I underwent five grueling rounds of chemotherapy. However, my approach to healing extended beyond conventional treatments.
Determined to support my body's natural healing processes, I explored various holistic and alternative therapies alongside my medical treatment. This included:

Nutrition: I adopted a carefully researched, plant-based diet rich in anti-inflammatory foods and natural immune boosters.
Mind-Body Techniques: I practiced daily meditation and visualization exercises, focusing on imagining my body healing itself.
Traditional Chinese Medicine: I worked with an experienced practitioner who used acupuncture and herbal remedies to help manage side effects and boost my immune system.
Exercise: Even in isolation, I maintained a gentle exercise routine, including yoga and short walks when possible.
Emotional Support: I engaged in regular therapy sessions and maintained strong connections with loved ones, believing in the power of positive emotional states in healing.
Detoxification Practices: I implemented safe, doctor-approved detox protocols to support my body in processing the chemotherapy drugs.
