Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I`m new at all this...i`d like to explore different countries, cultures, landscapes...and the best way to do that is of course to see it with my own eyes.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Untill today i just heard about couchsurfing from many people and to say it simple: it`s a great idea! the concept of sharing, giving, helping each other to have a great time, enjoying each other...there is really nothing more to say :D

Interests

Oh i love the Nature, man! The island i come from and the town i`m living now have the perfect surrounding: on one hand there`s the adriatic see, with all it`s mediterranean magic, all those crazy, beautiful scents you can`t stop smelling...on the other hand there`s the big mountainchain, called Velebit, and i really don`t know if i saw something more beautiful...all those peaks, forests, animals, sights...it`s not that simple to explain it, you just have to visit my beautiful country :D after you read this, you can imagine what i`m doing with my free time: hiking, biking, swimming and of course, playing my guitar ;D

i had my beatles phase, punk phase, grunge phase, new rock phase, old/hard/kuschelrock phase, then i went to indian, ambiental, electronic, a capella...and today it‘s all mixed up!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once i saw a griffon vulture from 3 meters range, who sat there on the ground, spread his 4 meter ranged wings and flied a few meters off the ground, just to sit after a few moments back on the ground. Like he knew that i was admiring him and therefore he wanted to show me all of his beauty :D
Everytime i`m visiting the mountains i find a new moment of truth, love and simple beauty, which makes me realise again and again how small we all are, but you can`t be afraid of that, it just makes you stronger.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don`t know...i can try to teach you croatian and german, if you want. i can also cook a little bit, only easy stuff, but tasty i hope :D i`m also playing guitar, where i can show you the basics and lots of english and croatian songs...my knowledge of german songs includes "alle meine Entchen" and some Weihnachtslieder ;D
