ABOUT ME

First of all, HI! to everyone who is visiting my profile.
My name is Marko and i come from Skopje, Macedonia. I am a guy and i'm 21 years old. Due to the opportunity i had, i moved to Orsay, France in order to get a better quality of education in mathematics as well as experience a new culture and mentality.
I like people who are open minded and cheerful, so if you this description fits you, feel free to find out more about myself by just scrolling down a bit.

PHILOSOPHY

I would describe myself as a liberal atheist. I think that everyone should be allowed to do anything as long he is not hurting another living being. The frontiers between people are all imaginary.

As for traveling philosophy, i would say that feeling the mentality and the spirit of the place as well as having fun is more important than visiting every possible tourist attraction.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently i am open for hosting for 1 person, in a period shorter than one week, preferably during the holidays.

I would also like to surf, so if you have a nice offer, feel free to PM me. For now, i would prefer to go around Europe, especially Scandinavia.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't really have any couchsurfing experience except for a visit to a friend in Serbia, who i met while playing World of Warcraft. However i want to change this in the upcoming year(s). :)

Interests

I love playing video games in my free time. I also enjoy going to the gym and the swimming pool, as it is time for me to get back in shape. On the other hand i adore food and cooking. Since recently, i've been a vegetarian and i'm aiming on becoming a vegan.

Other than that, i like mathematics (kinda obvious) and especially the algebraic inequalities.

I want to mention that i also like airplanes, oddly enough, the commercial ones. However the feeling is purely 'Platonic'. I just like looking at them, without any special interest in knowing how they function.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like watching sci-fi and action movies, as well as comedies and cartoons. A few that have really left a good impression are:
*Star Trek (both the movies and the shows, except for the movie which was released in 2009)
*Family Guy (i find this show simply amazing)
*The 80s show

Unlike many other people, i do not have a preferred genre of music, nor do i have any favorite artists. I enjoy Trance, House, Hip Hop and Rock.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've had the opportunity to see quite a few nice places in my life. As the most amazing one, i would pick the Plitvice national park in Croatia. The nature is so beautiful and the water system is amazing! I would reccomend this place to everyone.

However i don't think i've done anything really special. I am waiting to do parachuting and then i'm sure i will be able to fill in this gap :)

Teach, Learn, Share

As a math student, i would have no problem in helping people improve their math skills. Other than that, i should be able to teach a beginner some English language. I would also appreciate to have someone to improve my French (B2+) and German (A1+) levels with.

I would also love to learn how to properly manage my time, as well learn how to pilot an airplane.
