About Me

ABOUT ME

Easy-going, laid back, chill, clean, light on gluten, not much alcohol, no smoking.

PHILOSOPHY

I used to believe that what I do reflects who I am and got so fixated on that. What I did was important for me. A shift happened in 2012 and I found happiness during a time I should have felt miserable and that was an epiphany for me. Now, how I feel is what's important for me and I figured a process to achieve that and it just feels very liberating and makes me more open to new things.

update:

been traveling since May 2015 and going full on in my spirituality where I co-create with the universe. Everything has been a beautiful experience where the people I meet and myself learn from each other.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Mostly Airbnb honestly but I'm taking the plunge now with couchsurfing. I have crashed in friends couches like a few times but I guess that doesn't count. I crashed at a friends couch for a week and I only knew them for like 10mins of talking and next thing I knew, they invited me to crash at their place. we miss each other already right after i left and had a lot of fun learning how similar we were. Imagine all the amazing people one would meet if one keeps themselves open to this opportunity.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Treated myself to a 2.5 week Eurotrip twice in 2013 with very little planning and it was glorious. I always travelled with my family before and their style never appealed to me, which involves going to 'City centers' and lining up in museums and churches. It felt like a sport. I'm having the best time now just walking around and getting lost and talking to strangers. Being a film buff, it made sense. I feel like a character in a movie who moves to an exotic locale and he has to explore and figure out his surroundings sans trip advisor. I think doing one or two big things in a day is enough when travelling. The rest is there to be self-aware and absorb and be aware of what is in front of you. Honestly, you don't have to go very far to attain this. Just a different 'channel' or destination from the usual is enough.
