About Me

I'm very easy to get along with, since respecting people and being tolerant and open-minded towards everyone and everything new is sooo rewarding. I've travelled a lot in my life already and meeting new people around the world and listening to their stories is the perfect nutrition for my mind and soul.
I studied English and History to become a teacher because I consider education so, so important. On the other hand there has always been the passion for electronic music. So after finishing my traineeship I have only been focussing on my music career. Well, and what is more inspirational than getting to know new people and places?
Last but not least: Having a home seems natural but I've been to enough places where it's not like this. One's home is an intimate space and often important to get away from all the hustle and bustle. As a consequence if you let me stay with you at your place I see this as a generous gift and will behave absolutely appropriate. I appreciate your hospitality.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Nowadays I spend time in hotels due to my job as a DJ. During my extensive backpacking days I stayed in hostels most of the time however. And although staying in a hostel is less anonymous than in a hotel I'm looking for an even more authentic and personal way to stay in a foreign city. And since meeting people can be so rewarding I wanna try couchsurfing from now on :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Tough to make it short!!!
Music: I've always been into electronic music, on the other hand you can find me in little CD stores in Istanbul looking for Turkish or Kurdish music! I recently danced to "The Prodigy" in Berlin but I also can't wait to see "Björk" live this August. Rock Music? Some of it totally! Guess "Jazz", "Country" and "EDM" is the only music you can make me go up the wall :)
Books: I've mainly read non-fiction books to be honest, but some classic German and English books I read, too!
Movies: A lot of Tarantino's movies, good documentaries, noooo blockbusters, independent and demanding movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I guess I've done many amazing things, but neither is it possible to name THE MOST AMAZING thing, nor do I want to post it here but rather tell you in private.

Teach, Learn, Share
