Overview
About Me
I'm a business analyst (currently working for an IT company), living in Budapest, Hungary. My girlfriend Betti (she works as a procurement specialist for Danone) and I like travelling a lot and couchsurfing seems a very good method for visiting the places that we have always wanted to see.
I have started learning Spanish at secondary school, but unfortunately during my college years I couldn't keep up with it. So recently I started to read as much in Spanish as possible (mainly news, cartoons and Harry Potter books :-) ). I also subscribed to a Spanish language class, so by now I can experience some improvement both in my grammar and vocabulary.
For practicing, this year our goal is to have a relaxing vacation in Spain and to meet new friends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'd like to travel with my girlfriend. Especially in Spanish, English and French language countries, since both of us speak English, Betti speaks French and I'd like to practice my Spanish.
For us the most important is to experience the genuine atmosphere of the host city: the people, the food and the overall local youth culture. We strongly believe that couch surfing is an excellent way to get an insight of the everydays of an unknown city or region.

Hungarian cuisine:
We are eager to introduce some of the best traditional Hungarian plates to our hosts. As cooking is one of our favorite hobbies it would be really nice to cook together a hot bowl of Hungarian goulash soup, chicken paprikash or even pancakes.
Running / cycling:
We are also a great fan of running and cycling. It would be great to have the chance to have a downtown-discovery running, cycling together.
