About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To broaden my perspective of the world through travelling and meeting people of different cultures. I want to promote the idea of love, kind-heartedness and peace. We are all one people. There is too much hate this world. It's the duty of us young adults to change this,

ABOUT ME

I'm an anthropologist with a love for cultures, traditions and ethnicity (especially indigenous peoples). I have a passion for languages. I speak English and Portuguese. Solo traveller always looking for my next adventure.

PHILOSOPHY

The traveller has a duty to be a good ambassador of his nation/people/state. Respect local cultures, promote and patronise local cuisine. Do not impose your culture/norms/cuisine upon the people in whose state you are travelling. Engage with locals wherever you travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to host whenever I can but I do often meet couchsurfers travelling through and take em around!! I love meeting people of different cultures. I also help travellers with local advice so that they can make the best of their travels. For me Couchsurfing is not sabout a free place to stay but it is more of breaking down cutural and linguistic barriers and prejudices (and it definitely isn't a dating site!!) To be a good ambassador of the nation/peoples or state that I represent as a traveller.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never surfed a couch but I have met CSers from all over the world. I have hosted travellers in Goa, Mumbai and Lisbon and hung out with amazing cool people in India, Portugal,Vietnam, Cambodia ,Canada and Thailand through couchsurfing.
