ABOUT ME

For the last two years I have been living in the tropical paradise of China’s Hainan Island. On July 7th, 2014, I left from Sanya on the adventure of a lifetime. I am cycling around the world. Around the world by bike, back to my home in Canada. My journey begins in China and heads westward. Along the old Silk Road and the northern reaches of the Middle East. Down through the hidden treasures of Africa. Catching a boat over to South America, I will then weave my way North all the way home to Canada. I am riding in support of Free the Children charity, in order to give others access to reliable and safe education. Check out my website for more information at: www.oneadventureplease.com

I am new to the whole couch surfing thing, but see it as a great opporunity to continue meeting people from all over and help them through their adventure.

Interests

I love taking pictures, cooking good food, writing, playing the drums and riding my bike. Adventure is the name of the game.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love almost any type of music and always looking for a ew band to get hooked on. Read a lot of books and enjoy a wide variety such as George Orwell, Steinbeck, Hemingway. Throughly enjoyed Coelho's Alchemist and Saint-Experley's Wind, Sand and Stars. Mostly anything about travel, history or cycle touring.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can for sure cook a nice meal and share some of my travel photography or stories with them. If you have a broken bike I can do my best to help fix it. I like to help, so any odds jobs you just throw them my way.
