WELCOME TO THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF GLASGOW!!
Hello people of the world. I'm Mark Joseph from Glasgow, the largest, coolest and best city in Scotland (propaganda much)? I've lived in the city my entire life and I love making guests feel welcome. I hope that I can show you all that #peoplemakeglasgow. I'm 35 years old, I work Monday to Friday 9-5. I live with my beautiful fiancé Marco. One of the best things I've done in my life was in August/September 2017, I travelled with a close friend from Helsinki to Budapest, taking in the beautiful cities of Tallinn, Riga, Kaunas, Vilnius, Warsaw, Krakow, Brno, Bratislava and Vienna in between. It's an experience I'll never forget and it makes me want to travel a lot more. The most amazing thing during this trip was the amazing people I met throughout my trip, whether it be through being hosted or through hangouts, I was fortunate to meet a lot of interesting, smart, wonderful, beautiful people. Their kindness will never be forgotten. I've also been to Catalunya but Couchsurfing won't allow me to show this in 'countries I've visited.' If you request to stay, please include 'Siën foæerë yaærr' in your message. Too many copy/paste jobs and I feel as though Couchsurfing is losing it's Couchsurfingness with bland, lazy requests. If i feel your request is non personalised, l'll still reply, however I'll 'mark as non personalised. If you like to talk, sing, laugh and get drunk, I'm your host 😝. If you're boring and just want free accommodation then please look elsewhere. Hopefully you'll like my profile enough to "swipe right"
What’s the best thing about Edinburgh?! THE ROAD TO GLASGOW! 😇🙃
2 things that my couch surfers always say:
1. Glasgow was actually a lot better than I expected.
2. Glasgow is better than Edinburgh. Yes, Edinburgh is beautiful but it’s soooooo boring and too touristy. Thanks, merci, gracias, obrigado, danke, dank je, grazie, spasiba, hvala.

I am a citizen of the world. Visiting new places makes us better people :). I know that's such a cliche but it's true, in my opinion. Through Couchsurfing I've made a lot of friends from all over the world, maybe we can become friends too?

Teach, Learn, Share
I enjoy chatting about travelling, politics, while sharing a bottle of wine or a few beers. Here's the weird part (there are actually plenty), I love eating HAGGIS PASTA.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer potential guests a sofa bed, 20 minute bus or train from city centre. I work shifts, though, when I'm off, I'm all yours to taxi you around the city :). Maybe also tickets to see the mighty CELTIC FOOTBALL CLUB🍀
