About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm told I'm an inspiration. That I'm articulate yet warm, fun and funny. That I'm richly insightful and voraciously curious. That I've come a lo g way. That I'm an inventor with the mind of an engineer and the soul of a dancer. And I just can't help myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm learning to travel my way. I seek to learn in every way available. What better way to know a place than to sink in and share with who's there?

Interests

I am an entrepreneur and artist at heart. I call it work, but in my most glorious moments I have to admit, it's just the 6 year old in me still at play. I'm currently exploring the interface between artificial intelligence and permaculture through independent research. I'm an avid reader and love to learn. That said, I love a good campfire with good friends after a hard day's work or even better during a road trip. It's better than TV... really.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Interstellar, Star Trek, Blade Runner
Books: too many to name
Music: Armin Van Buuren, Desert Dwellers, Deya Dova on the yang end, gentle electronic soundscapes and kirtan on the yin. And a lot more eclectic these days as I've discovered ecstatic dance.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

At age 22, I had a spiritual awakening that left me wearing all black, standing in the rain for a half-hour with a smile on my face so wide that others couldn't help but notice and smile radiantly too. I remember at the time thinking that was the first time I'd experienced rain and that I was part of an ecology. In the last three years, I've been building a career aligned with my highest vision. The whole road has been bumpy and wild and by the seat of my pants, but I'd not sell it for anything.
