About Me
Hi
My name is Markus. I am living and working in Bratislava. Nuclear chemistry and Nuclear and subnuclear physics might have strike you at first glance, but I wont strike you as a scientist when I spill limonade on my fresh white t-shirt. When I am at work I am doing my best to stay focused and to be profesional. Its hard because all I have in my head are wild dreams about what to do in a free time. Yeah daydreaming is my thing :D You definitely saw my photos. Good. Now you know I like to do a lot of mainly sport activities, like Cross Country Skiing, Swimming, Biking and of corse Football (the american one). I am definitely active person with a lot of interests but sorry I wont share my drumming videos :D I am passionate about things I love to do and I am constatly trying to be better at those things. I love challenges and I absolutely refuse to give up no matter what.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Never tried Couchsurfing before to be honest. I have always traveled and stayed in RBnB or hotels. But then 150 cm tall Belarussian breached my comfort zone. I had no chance. Fell in love instantly and now I get to travel and see the world with her.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I turned my biggest weakness into one of my strenghts. Back in the high school I had bad grades in the mathemathics, physics and chemistry. One day I got sick of it and I started studying. I sat in my room and read so hard I almost did get blind :D
Totally worth it!
Teach, Learn, Share
Although I didnt do much teaching during my PhD. studies, I supervised couple of bachelor thesis and laboratory work. Didnt really like it though. Teaching children how to swimm is more fulfilling to me as I have lots of experience in this area. It just makes sense :)
