Hello there, I'm Markus right now I'm traveling around Chile. I want to explore new countries, cultures, landscapes and meeting fascinating people to extend my horizon. Although I like traveling, I missed the opportunity to do a great journey and it feels like now is the time to do it.

So far I lived in Bonn and just finished my studies. In my free-time I do a lot of different things. I was a part of a charity organisation where I launched some events and tried to bring a lot of different people together. Connecting and helping people is something which is a part of me, therefore tolerance and an open mind are some important attributes to me. I also like sport and doing crazy stuff with my friends. In a quite moment I read and sometimes write some poems or stories to capture my view of the world.

I'm an easy guy besides from taking things (too) slow here and then. A friend of mine once told me "If you have big plans, you are welcome to take your time" - and I have big plans ;)

I want to meet new people and talk about all the things which matter. Additionally I like to take the chance to get to know some locals.

Two years ago I visited Nepal. It was my first time traveling alone and in a short time I met so much interesting and stunning people - everyone with their own stories and there own views of life. It was a pleasure for me to share the experience and to discuss about life.

There's a lot of different stuff, which I favorite. It's always hard for me to pick out some favorites, especially because I probably forget the best ones. A big author for me is Benedict Wells. He followed his dream until fulfillment . A stunning book from him is "The end of loneliness". Also some big names like Hermann Hesse or Paulo Coehlo are on top of the list. For movies I would go with titles like "Inception" or "Shutter Island", which are mind-blowing. Some big musicians for me are Faber, AnnenMayKantereit and Von Wegen Lizbeth, all of them mixing beautiful lyrics with soundful tones.

Hiking in Irland. Such a great and extensive landscape and also very open minded people over there. Sleeping in the tent just by the sea with some of your closest friends around you is a feeling of freedom which was exceptional. Not to forget the good food and beer.
