Hello there! I'm Markus, a 29 year old swede living in our beautiful capital Stockholm. Grew up on the countryside but moved here a couple of years ago, and getting more and more used to the urban life here in this sweet town!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Thought that I'm gonna give this couch surfing-thing a try because I've decided to enrich my life with new experiences, new people and new perspective - what can be a better way of doing that than get to know people from all over the world?! Curious on what seems to be a great concept of travel in a totally different way.

Interests

Kind of an active guy who really like to be outdoors! Love taking a long run in the streets or perhaps a trail run in the beautiful swedish back country. Taking on new challenges that makes me experience something new are all good things :) Also love travelling, obviously, with my favourite trip so far being driving across the USA in a bright yellow Chevy Camaro.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really do listen to almost everything, got a broad taste of music with a special thing for americana, folk and country music! Sorry to say though that I'm one of those lost souls who don't read books and rather wait for the movie to come out, hoping that'll change when I grow up some day :) As for the movies, love almost all mafia related movies, the Coen brothers, Scorsese and Tarantino.
