Hi all! I'm currently working as a German teacher at Osh State University and I'd be glad to have people over to explore the city of Osh and its fascinating culture and history. I'm also up for hikes on the weekend (e.g. to Jalal-Abad, Arslanbob or Sary-Chelek).

Since this is the "About Me"-Section, some more information (more to follow when you visit!): Grew up in Germany, lived in NYC for one year volunteering in social work, did my Bachelors in Frankfurt am Main and my Masters in Frankfurt an der Oder (which is a small town east of Berlin on the Polish border), including one semester in Moscow. I like good food and cooking, music and dancing (however I can't dance), reading and hiking. So I'm kinda a typical CS-person, which also means that I'm easy going, very friendly and sociable, and stuff.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite Music: is subject to change, but right now I'm exploring Russian music from the 80s. I also like Gangsta-Rap, Techno and Punkrock. I generally don't like hard rock, heavy metal, German Schlager and Reggae that much, but you can try to convince me that I'm wrong.

Teach: German and English language, Cooking overly greasy and spicy, but totally delicious pasta.
Learn: I really want to improve my Russian! Besides that I'm starting to learn the guitar and would be glad for any advice.
