My name is Markus. I am an outdoorsy, outgoing person and enjoy to get to know different people from all around the world. I love good wine, spendingt time in the mountains (mostly I am skiing, paragliding and hiking) and having a good laugh with family and friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a great way to travel. You get the chance to meet locals who can tell you off the beaten path and exchange funny travel experiences.

Interests

Since I am Austrian, my biggest passion is to enjoy our beautiful alps and go skiing. Since one year I am also paragliding and fullfilled my dream to learn to fly ;-)
Apart from that I love to drink good wine. After my business studies I was currious how the process of winemaking works which is why I did two harvests on wineries in Austria and New Zealand.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Difficult to choose just one but moving to New Zealand for 6 months to work on one of the coolest wineries was probably the best experience I made.
