ABOUT US

Lorena (29) is from La Gomera, Canary Islands, Spain. She is a passionate singer and works for an NGO helping street dogs. Also she teaches children at home. She travelled to Morocco and Peru volunteering with an NGO helping children.

Markus (34) is from the eastern part Germany but also lived in Berlin and Moscow for some years. He is a writer and photographer and has travelled a lot.

PHILOSOPHY

We love nature, animals and honest people. We don't care what someones profession is or if she/he is considered "cool" by society. We don't like consumerism and superficial people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We hosted couchsurfers in Hamburg. But right now we are constantly traveling. We consider Couchsurfing not as a possibility to get a free place to stay, but are looking to make real friends and learn more the culture and daily life of our host.

Music, Movies, and Books

Lorena likes fantasy books and movies where 1.) no one is cheating on his partner and 2.) no animal dies. She loves to sing Spanish songs.

Markus likes funny movies and music to chill to.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We have swam with green sea turtles and washed an elephant in Sri Lanka. That was pretty cool.
