About Me

I love it when people get excited when they tell me where they've traveled, what they want to do, and their goals/passions and their past romances. I doodle on everything and I stick my foot in my mouth constantly.

I think its best to show rather than tell, but here's an intro: I'm a environmental science major/chem minor, living in San Francisco. Hablo Espanol tambien, y me gustaria estudiar y aprender mas con un hispanohablante en La Ciudad (SF). I'm level-headed, dedicated, and usually an optimistic person. I love going for hikes, wasting the whole day in bed, and running on the beach. I usually keep a small garden if I stay in one place long enough + I'm an environmentalist who is into sustainable living.

I just came back from studying/living in Panama for four months.

My current goals are:
earn my degree (BS in Environmental Science)
increase my health (physical mental emotional)
become a peace corp volunteer
spend a year traveling + working
possibly earn a master abroad

Algun dia, quiero ser un ingeniero ambiental o un hidrologísta. Alguien pueden trabajar en un laboratorio para la mitad del año, y viajar para el dama del año.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think the best way to get to know someone and their culture isn't to stay at a hotel. Its cool to meet like-minded & completely different people.

Hoping to make connections and friends home and abroad. I'd love a chance to show someone my city and they show me theirs. My first boyfriend lived in Tijuana and he taught me how to appreciate other cultures. So now here I am.

I usually prefer staying with/hosting other LGBTQIA folk: we just have more in common and we're a community. (cough* cough* I'm familiar with sex surfing, on both ends, and it usually doesn't work after the first night lol).

I can't reply to all of your requests because, I mean, it's SF so there is usually a lot of them, I'm a busy student, and I usually try to respond to guys/gals who are similar in age/experiences to me. But I'm always down to meet someone and give them tips and tricks in this insane city.

You should start the conversation about why, when you're coming and from where. Also you should make sure to actually think something out and tell me something interesting about yourself. Include "National Geographic" so I know you read my profile. I can tell when people are just looking for a couch or genuinely need a place to crash. I want to get to know a little about you before, and it would make it easier to start off when you finally get here :-D/ / / Also, I cant go out every night, but I'm a party animal on the weekends, and very 420 friendly.

Interests

I usually prefer being outdoors. I love learning about evolutionary ecology, plant botany and biology, and sustainability.

I love to swim, hike, camp outdoors, skinny dip in the ocean, smoke and talk about important things, study, travel, plan for travel, and learn. Draw, get the right answers on math problems, dance, read to myself & to others, watching movies late at night and cuddle.

la cultura de Mexico es muy importante para mi, Si eres de afuera de US, me encantaria probar un plato autentico de tu pais/region contigo. (Si puedes cocinar) If you're from outside the US, I would love to try a dish from your country with you, if you can cook.

I'm an anime enthusiast and true to form, I read/watch too much science fiction and fantasy for my own good, but I can never pass up the opportunity to share good books and movies with new friends.

Avatar the Last Airbender and Legend of Korra are the shit. I love the book thief, american gods, uglies, sabriel (series), on the road, encyclopedias.
