About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To experience different cultures, learn and have fun!

ABOUT ME

I'm a really active guy who loves traveling to far-flung destinations, learning to communicate with the locals and making good friends along the way, which is why I think Couchsurfing is such an excellent concept.
I'm a Londoner born and raised but I also identify with the laid-back thoughtfulness of the Greeks and the energetic and cultured style of the Hungarians as my parents originate from these countries.
In my free time you'll find me organising parties at my home with friends, down at the kung fu club or breakdancing. In fact, it's the kung fu that inspired me to move to China for 18 months. I had a mind-blowing 4 months training with the guys who did the Wheel of Life and Kung Fu Masters shows and have since been teaching English to around 250 university students. I appreciate all types of art, music and am a big foodie. In short, I have fun wherever I am and love spending my time entertaining others.

PHILOSOPHY

I stay happy and healthy by keeping myself focused on my work and sports; being as helpful and charitable as possible with others; and learning something new every day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I heard about this site from my mate Mark McCarthy. He's couch-surfed all over SE Asia and always had an amazing time.

Music, Movies, and Books

I mainly read travel literature but also enjoy Tom Sharpe, Philip Pullman, Truman Capote, Voltaire, Brecht, Camus.

I'm a big fan of breakbeats when it comes to music. So anything from hiphop, garage, funk, soul to arabic music.

Cashback, La Haine, In Bruges and anything by Coen Brothers are cool movies.
