Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Growing up and especially recently I've always had friends staying with us and thus they return the favor. I have never officially couch surfed but have found beds or couches to stay on while traveling through word of mouth or recommendation of friends. I have hosted a few surfers since joining and have great experiences each time. I enjoy getting to meet travelers whatever their purpose and living their adventures vicariously through them while also joining in their adventure through sharing them the beauty of my home.

Interests

Being outdoors, hanging out with friends, playing games. Kids are definitely enriching as well as great food. I love snowboarding especially backcountry, mountain biking, hiking, camping, rafting, swimming, and am hoping to learn how to surf.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love love love to read. I will finish a book even if I don't really like it because I have faith in all authors and believe a book can be completely turned around in one sentence.  Music is an amazing art form. I can enjoy all types of music except heavy metal, I'm sorry it just gives me a headache.  And I love to dance, in my living room, in my sleep, for performances, or even just out on the town. Movies...have to get geared up for the winter season with a good snowboarding/skiing documentary, but in general Remember the Titans is an all time favorite.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Either skydiving over the big island of Hawaii or convincing my older brother who is afraid of heights to go skydiving with me :)
