About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To learn how to live in a healthy and sustainable way, while seeing new people, oceans and mountains every day!

ABOUT ME

I like to travel, learn and see beautiful inspiring people and things! I am fascinated by different cultures, nature and astrology.
I am currently working an a dual degree in Geography and Political Science. Three years of liberal arts education has given me lots of ideas of the problems facing the world today, but little idea of how to fix them. I'm hoping that through traveling and meeting people with different knowledge and viewpoints, I can get and idea of where to start!
I love food - cooking, growing, smelling, seeing and learning about it. I also enjoy photography and playing and listening to all sorts of good music.
I live to travel and see the world. The most amazing experiences I have had has been traveling around Southern Africa, camping and staying at various hostels. I became addicted to meeting interesting people, and seeing new ways to live.

Music, Movies, and Books

I think everyone in the world should read Ishmael, by Daniel Quinn. Michael Pollan is a genious. Nelson Mandela is one of my greatest inspirations, and anytime I think my life is tough, I can open up to any page in his autobiography to put things back in perspective, and move forward optimistically.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in South Africa for six months, studying and traveling. During that time I taught at a school in a local township, which was the most educational experience of my life.
I also drank entirely too much wine, and did the world's hightest bungee jump :)

Countries I’ve Visited
