About Me
ABOUT ME
I have very itchy feet and I love to discover little miracles around the world. I'm outgoing and social but not a crazy party animal. The best thing about traveling to me is meeting new people and sharing experiences. I'm constantly searching for ways to follow a less materialistic and more eco-friendly lifestyle while doing things that bring me happiness and joy - but don't worry, I still take showers and wash my clothes. ;)
PHILOSOPHY
Stay positive and keep smiling.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Surfed a little, hosted more. Unfortunately I'm not able to host at the moment but will definitely get back to it once possible.
Interests
Music (listening and playing), learning new languages, meeting new people, unplanned road trips, sports, reading a nice book on a sunny afternoon, arts, cooking, yoga and enjoying life. Oh and nature, I love nature, especially taking hikes in the forest, going on boat trips, picking up berries until my back hurts so much it's hard to stand up, and everything in between. Also I like growing my own veggies and herbs.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love music and going to festivals and gigs. Don't ask what is my favourite band, there's so many! I also recently started to learn to play the violin. All in all, music affects my mood a lot, can't live without it.
Love reading fiction but haven't had too much time lately. The top two genres I like the best are fantasy/sci-fi and historical novels. Also Game of Thrones. Gotta love it, both the books and the TV series. I'm addicted to documentary films, although a nice comedy or horror film every now or then can't hurt you, right?
I must add my favourite movie quote here: "I love lamp". ;)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveling around India was very intense and interesting. It was the best and the worst trip I've done.
I've also lived some months in France and Canada due to work and studies (Erasmus, wohoo!). I met so many awesome people during those months and made lifelong friends.
The most amazing thing was when I decided to sell everything I owned and moved to the other side of the planet without any plans. The best decision of my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning new things and have an open mind. As a contemporary history major I can tell you a lot about the Finnish/European history if you're interested! And of course I can teach you some Finnish phrases which you will probably never use again. :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
My presence. And to be serious, I'm a descent cook and will definitely bring you some local specialities with me if possible. Don't mind walking your dog either if you have one.
