I'm a student from Germany studying English and Arts to hopefully one day become a teacher. I love traveling and exploring new cultures which is why I decided to do a study abroad semester in the U.S. at UWM Milwaukee. I'm looking forward to meeting new people and exploring the country. I've already been living abroad during my AuPair year in Ireland which really was a wonderful experience. I’d like to make friendships all over the world and I think Couchsurfing is a wonderful way to achieve this!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of books but the ones I'll never be tired of reading are the Harry Potter books. It's like going back to childhood and to my second home; Hogwarts. I'm also really into movies. I try to watch a lot of new ones every month in the theater. I definitely prefer films which have some deeper meaning but I'm open to various genres. Right now I’m doing a horror movie seminar at UWM which is really interesting!

Teach, Learn, Share

Since I’m heading for a teaching certificate in TEFL I’m really curious about intercultural competences and exchange. I also love talking about arts and visual literacy which is a very large field. I’d love to learn more about cultures and I’m more than happy to give some insights/opinions about German culture.
