Overview
About Me
I am am a happy, outgoing German woman who is living back in her hometown of Hamburg now after being on the road in different countries for almost four years.
I am an avid reader, like good conversations and discussions and walking around cities for hours daytime and nighttime.
My happy place is somewhere in nature, close to water and away from the crowds. But I also like the bursting city life and neon lights.
Contrasts are always interesting.
I work for a local bank to have a secure income, because this year I want to focus on my yoga teacher training, which will take up much of my time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Since I am on couchsurfing, I have met kind people in many different towns. So far all of my experiences were pleasant.
Over the last three years, I have not stayed in a place long enough to have a place of my own (in Berlin I shared an appartment with 4 roommates, a dog and a guinea pig), but once I do, I want to host couchsurfers as well. What a great way to meet new people and show off 'your' town!
I have probably never been to your town, so please tell me about all the good coffee shops, bars and museums!
Interests
Love music, listening to it or playing (including singing loudly while driving).
I play the ukulele and it travels with me wherever I go. My boyfriend plays the guitar very well and we often jam together.
Yoga is awesome or moving outdoors. Hiking, rock climbing, or just long walks through the town - who needs the bus?
I am a big fan of making food: Cooking, baking, making drinks. You name it!
- books
- cooking
- traveling
- music
- ukulele
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Too hard to choose... It ranges from Rock, Folk and Hip Hop to Oldies and Classical Music. Over all live music is my favorite. Lets jam together, I would like to listen to you play or go see a band at a bar or concert.
Tell me about your favorites and I will defintivly give them a listen!
Movies: Into the Wild, The Perks of Being a Wallflower
Also many more, but these are my top three.
Books: The Harry Potter Series. And this has not changed since I was about 9 years old. And On the Road
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I quit my job to start travelling and didn't look back. I kept to that lifestyle for almost four years and it was a transformative time in my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know how to bake a really good loaf of bread. I can make one for you or teach you how to do it yourself.
I am a devoted yoga student and this is the year that I will take yoga teacher training.
I am happy to share what I have learned so far and happy to learn from you as well.
Learning how to play guitar and ukulele.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Bread :) Stories and music!
Also laughter and yoga tips
