Overview
About Me
I like to think of myself as a modern adventurer. I like to travel alone and spend my time exploring to find the hidden gems of new places. I am currently working to save up for my next adventure, though I don't know where to yet!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm looking for affordable housing options and to meet interesting people from new places. Mostly looking for a couch to sleep on, and maybe some local secrets/tips. Would love to learn more about and become involved in the CS community/culture/participation.
Interests
I enjoy reading, writing, and having conversations about just about anything. I also like listening to music, drawing, and cooking. I spend a lot of time thinking about song lyrics, and how we use technology and media to make closer connections to others.

Music, Movies, and Books
I mostly listen to angsty teenage music circa 2005, but I like almost all music. If I haven't heard it yet, I'd like to!
My favorite movies include Office Space, The Labyrinth, and Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
Some of my favorite books are: The Stranger by Camus ; Dry by Augusten Burroughs ; and Stitches by David Small. I'm most interested in memoirs and graphic novels
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've spoken at a panel for a film screening at NYU about my undergraduate honors thesis.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook an array of breakfast dishes (as well as other meals), and I'm happy to help with dishes and around the house chores. I'm pretty good at charade-like games, and can share my positive attitude with everyone I meet.
