Hi !

My name is Marlène, I’m french and I’m currently travelling in Japan with a working holiday visa. Why ? Simply because I needed to prove me that I was able to fulfill my dreams and fight my insecurities by travelling alone in a foreign country far far away from home, family and comfort.
And that’s what I’m living now, a dream in Japan, discovering all the aspect of the country, working and doing some sightseeing, meeting lot of people, locals and foreigners.
And that’s also who I am now, someone who truly feel good with herself, doing my best every single days, not less not more.
I’m a very open-minded person, compassionate and I try to be positive every single days living in present.
I will very glad to meet you on my way, share a piece of life, for a short time or a longest period.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is all new for me and I'm very exited by the idea to meet people this way. Opening his door is a nice metaphor of opening his heart and mind to others and be ready to share and receive without expectation.
I hope to meet a lot of nice people :)
