Hi everybody!

I am a passionate traveler and all of that started about 12 years ago. After finishing my high school I decided to become an Au Pair within the United States and since then my interests in foreign countries, travels, cultures, languages and lifestyles just exploded. I am currently taking a break from my life in Germany while volunteering and traveling Central America. I have a passion for Spanish and Latin culture, partly also because of my lovely Spanish boyfriend. Back in Germany I used to work as Marketing Manager within the B2B service sector, but right now while traveling I am looking for new ways to combine my creative marketing knowledge with a more meaningful work.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been traveling now for about 10 years. What I always appreciate the most, is the real local and authentic experience instead of visiting one site after each other. I have made great experiences while staying in hostels, homestays and airbnb accommodations and now I really want to receive a completely new travel experience through couchsurfing - in order to meet local people that can best introduce me to the local culture and lifestyle. I am very excited!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For me personally amazing was the fact that I was able to take the decision of quitting my safe but unhappy job in Germany in order to make a great volunteer and travel experience in Central America.
