ABOUT ME

I am Marlene Lumpi, 23 years old and from Austria. I love travelling and getting in touch with new and especially different people. I think it is important to exchange cultures and traditions because you can learn so much from it. And life for me is about doing everything what comes up on my mind and seeing the world, I simply don't want to miss out on any opportunity.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been couchsurfing a few times in New Zealand and it was simply amazing. They all treated me very well .

Interests

I like watching movies, cooking , baking , meeting my friends and going out and simply enjoy life .
I am very interested in Philosophy and Arts, but my interests do vary quite much as I also like to stick my head into Biology books. I am also very tolerant which is why I am glad to hear different opinions and views.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourite Film is by far Pulp Fiction, I also enjoy the other films from Quentin Tarantino but still it is a classic.
I am also very interested in Indie movies and currently my favourite one is Call me by your name.
And yes I watched the Avengers and other Marvel or DC classics.
Of course I am also into all kind of series but who isn‘t with Netflix and Amazon Prime being around. An all time classic is Friends but I also watched GoT, Breaking Bad, Orange is the new Black etc.

I haven't really got a favourite music genre, I do prefer rock music especially Punk rock but I also listen to reggae, indie, alternative, hip hop and I also love piano music.

I want to get going with French so I could use any help. Also I would love you to show me traditional dishes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A very nice traditional Sachertorte from Austria but any kind of dessert. And also cooking in general. I would regard my happiness also as a shareable feature.
