CURRENT MISSION
ABOUT ME
I like to play the guitar (and some other instruments) and sing, so I will always have a guitar while I'm travelling. I'm a kind of quiet guy until I'm 100% comfortable. Then I'm not so quiet anymore. Unless the situation I'm comfortable in, requires me being quiet... haha... :D
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Actually haven't used it much lately... but had some crazy good experiences in the past!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I met some really wonderful people and some of them even became good friends of mine. I hostet a couple of people I didn't meet via this website but I would say that counts as hosting.. not only friends, but people I met along the way... in bars or so.. only good experiences! And also the people I met who could not host me were always good ones. So I guess thats a CS-thing - people here seem to be nice. :D
Interests
Yeah well, I'm a musician. And I love doing this.
Also I worked for a TV channel for a while and people still book me sometimes as a cameraman or editor which is also very fun. I have my own TV Show on a local Berlin based TV Channel (ALEX TV). The show is called "LoTechLounge" and you can find it on Youtube. It's about livingroom concerts (which I can always do for you if you host me! :D)

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Once, Monty Python, Jurassic Park, Into the wild, Fight Club, Donny Darco, Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain, Forrest Gump, Moulin Rouge, Star Wars........... and many more.
Music: It's so much... I try to list my favourites: "Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young", Cat Stevens, Neil Young, The Beatles, Donovan, The Byrds, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Rainbow,... mainly stuff from the 60's and 70's but there's also some newer stuff that doesn't suck, for example bands that sound like from the 60s and 70s like Siena Root, Wucan, Wedge, Fooks Nihil and so on.... haha... :D But aaaaalso modern stuff sometimes like Radiohead and Damien Rice... lately started enjoying the german Singer-Songwriter Tex a lot which is cool because I also played some gigs with him.
I really enjoyed reading all Charles Bukowski and Kafka books. But to be honest, I've been very lazy lately when it comes to reading....
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Two months of total strangeness. Total clash of cultures - me beeing in Ethiopia - and I loved it!
Also I went on Tour in Sicily. Means playing a Concert in a different venue every night and meeting a lot of amazing people!
I have this kind of new band called Mr. Who and we had the chance to play some huge nice concerts for example at one of my favourite TV shows (TV Noir).
That makes it three amazing things I've done or I would say "that happened to me" or "I was lucky enough to experience"! :)
Teach, Learn, Share
Everything can be interesting. I think I can learn a lot of things about the world, about languages and things like that.
Maybe I could teach an instrument, or talking german and talking german as we do it in my region or in hamburg or in berlin... dialects and stuff...
