About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Getting to know new people and a new city

ABOUT ME

About 5' 4", brown eyes, brown hair, no distinguishing scars or tattoos apart from one MASSIVE (well, bold!) scar on my leg, but I'll only tell you that story if you're really lucky.

I'm usually quite laid-back and sometimes a bit shy, but I love meeting and getting to know new people, no matter how different we may be. I get very excited when I hear songs I know played in public and I love to dress up (smart clothes, fancy dress... whatever!) and mess around :]

PHILOSOPHY

Don't judge people too harshly - everybody has a story to tell and if you listen first you might start to understand.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm still fairly new to Couchsurfing but I've been going to some CS meetings here in Berlin and met some really amazing people. I hope to have an opportunity to host soon.

Interests

Instant photography, filmmaking, Malaysian food (it's in the genes!) My degree subjects - Philosophy and German - should come under here too, and I'm always interested in picking up a lot more new skills and acquiring new knowledge. At the moment I'm toying with the idea of taking up boxing...

Music, Movies, and Books

I LOVE movies and books - it's hard to pick favourites... although I'm a definite horror movie wimp. When I was younger I was even afraid of E.T.

"Money" by The Flying Lizards, "Echoes" by The Rapture, "Misirlou" by Dick Dale & his Del-Tones and "The Ballad of Helen Keller and Rip Van Winkle" by The Moldy Peaches are my soundtrack of the minute.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going to Taman Negara, Malaysia.

Teach, Learn, Share

I found out when I was about 16 that Baileys ice cream goes really well with Pom-Bears. Try it - if you think I'm deluded you'll still have some mildly alcoholic ice-cream and some small salty bears to do whatever you want with!
