About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to see and to experience; to explore and to learn

ABOUT ME

Usually I don't bother with this self-description thing on the internet but as the CS spirit is based on the mutual trust in people, so here I can assure you that I'm an OK person without any strange (or too strange let's say) habit or fetish, who loves travelling and would like to meet some interesting people while seeing a bit of the world. Anyway you'll know more about me when we meet.

It's been more than a year since I got a one-way ticket and headed out to Europe, without any fixed plans. I remember the night before my departure I was on my cosy bed, wondering why the hell I was going to leave this comfort considering after that very night it would be all uncertainties waiting for me. But, now here I am, who's still enjoying the excitement of a life abroad, can tell you it's worth every bit of it.

PS And for those who's here for free sex, FUCK OFF and get a life.

PHILOSOPHY

live in the moment. carpe diem.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I heard of this site when reading some travelling guides, then by chance I met a traveler who happened to be a CS member. He told me how he met other travellers through the site and it somehow made him become a traveller himself. So a few days before my trip I became a member of the site by filling in some basic infos. And here I am now.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met so many great people (and one pervert) since joining the CSers community. Anyway I better save some stories for some coffee/beer chat

Interests

seeing beautiful things, meeting interesting people, wasting time/money in the ways i like... hmm

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: before the death of my computer I got more than 8000 songs. So it mostly depends on the moment and the mood.

Movies: Greenmile, Forest Gump, Cast Away, Edward Scissorhand, the Pianist, Vita è bella, Hedwig and the angry inch, Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain, Leon, stand by me, Persepolis, The god must be crazy, Goodbye Lenin, Departures, Lost in translation, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind....list still expanding...

Books: Catcher in the Rye. The Missing Piece meets the Big O. The Unbearable Lightness of Being. Life of Pi.The Dilbert Series.. etcetc with 'The Little Prince' being my all-time fave.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- I was born.
- I got a one-way ticket to London and without much planning I've been travelling for more than a year
- I don't know how it happened but I managed to lose my passport a week before my departure and got it found just in time.

- I can't read maps, I can only speak two languages and without much money on my hand I've somehow made it through so far. At least I think it's amazing and I impressed myself haha.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to learn Spanish and French. If I master English Chinese Spanish and French id be able to talk to about 80% of the world population. Just think how great it is.

updated: I've been learning Italian for a while. I still can't manage to do the alveolar trill (RRRRR)

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Egypt, France, Greece, Hungary, India, Italy, Japan, Spain, Thailand, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

China
