About Me

CURRENT MISSION

John and I love to travel, to meet and spend time with people from other countries.

ABOUT ME

We are a married couple who have a blended family and have six children between us who are all living independently now, and (currently) 2 grandchildren. We live in Albany, which is a relatively small regional city in WA, and really enjoy and savour our lifestyle here. We love to travel and feel one of the most enriching things is to meet people from other countries. We are happy to open our home to people from all around the world as a way of connecting and learning and sharing.

PHILOSOPHY

We love and respect nature, we feel strongly about having no religious beliefs. We lead honest and hardworking lives and love our family, our friends and neighbours and community.

Music, Movies, and Books

We enjoy jazz and the blues and some folk music. Enjoy reading contemporary fiction and autobiographies. Until recently Karen was a member of a community choir and more recently we have started playing the ukulele and belong to the Albany Ukulele Club. John is a great piano player.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sang in a 1000 voice choir as part of an international arts festival in Perth a few years ago.
