Overview
About Me
I recently graduated from Bard College with a degree in cultural Anthropology. I grew up on an apple orchard in Central Minnesota, and spent most of my time being fascinated with the concept of home, and exploring farming relationships in the Midwest. I really enjoy public radio programming, pulled pork, eating free fruit, and punny jokes.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've honestly just joined now because I am attending a conference and need a place to stay nearby.
Interests
I'm a huge fan of bar trivia (in spite of being pretty useless at it), listening to This American Life or Wait Wait Don't Tell Me, having rubber band fights, talking about apples, urban theory, taking pictures of pigs, becoming friends with baby boomers, and hanging out at any local establishment and making friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
Lately I am really into Sylvan Esso, Hooray for the Riff Raff, Possessed by Paul James, and Charlie Parr.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Just last week I helped deliver a newborn lamb. It was the most breathtaking phenomena I've witnessed in months. I've also participated in a 72 hour trivia contest, twice!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you the most efficient, tastiest way to eat an apple, and give you a few tips on how to select the best apple in any pile.
