ABOUT ME

Well I'm a recent graduate, fresh out of design school, living in Rotterdam together with ,my roommate. It's the start of my working life and I want to find out what the thing for me is. So I'm starting businesses, talking to people, and teaching prototyping at a university workshop. And when that's done for the day I bike home and start the night. Enjoying some drinks with friends, going out for a night of partying, or just being lazy and cooking some food and crashing on the couch with some music on. Quite standard fare to be honest, but I love it. Plus I'll soon get to break that rhythm by going on a massive roadtrip through the US to live life on the road. Just hopping in a car and going :)

PHILOSOPHY

I'll try anything once. After all I'll never be as young as I am now, and I want to see and do all that the world has to offer. So let's try it and see what happens. It's luckily worked well for me all this time, and is something that's especially fun when shared with those around you.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None via Couchsurfing, but I have seen a lot of couches. As one does. It's very much helped by being able to sleep through anything (I lived next to a fire station for years. Never woke me up. Odd.). But this will be something different from just crashing on a friend's couch, so I'm pretty excited about this whole Couchsurfing thing!

Interesses

Very broad. I love music, design (and cars obviously), writing shorts, and just creativity in general. Making something out of nothing, something fresh the world has never seen is just such a lovely thing. No matter whether you're making art, a great sandwich or simply creating a moment. I guess I just like the randomness of it all.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

Music: I've tried my hand at DJing, so I rather like the electronic stuff. But it really varies, from Little Red to Pink Floyd and Dusty Springfield to Dusty Kid. If you ask me what my favourite artist is you'll get a different answer each day.
Books: Hithchikers Guide to the Galaxy, High Fidelity, On the Road.
Movies: The Wall, Fight Club, Heavy Metal, Ferris Bueller's day off. And a secret love for Will Ferrell movies. Don't tell anyone though.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

One thing that springs to mind was this summer at a festival. We were dancing with a great group of friends, standing on a beach with our feet in the sand. The music flowing right through us, as all of a sudden the sun rises over the water. For some reason everything was exactly right. Mesmerising.

Ensine, Aprenda, Compartilhe

Well I've always been open for anything, which has resulted in a rather random skillset on my part. So if you need someone to teach you anything from basic car repairs or tieing a cherry stem into a knot using only your mouth to how to breathe fire I'm game. Luckily there's still way more stuff I'd still love to learn. Play the guitar, surf, build a site. Number one is learning to snap my fingers though. Tried and tried and still can't do it. I might be broken.
