CURRENT MISSION
to be in the right place, at the right time
ABOUT ME
This question keeps me up at night. Actually, nothing keeps me up at night, unless it's my roommate playing the vuvuzela at 2:00 a.m.
I grew up in Mexico, moved to Spain at 19, and now live in the Netherlands.
I talk for fun, listen for a living, and think because I love to.
I currently believe that personality is fluid, so I'll skip the details.
Right now, I'm trying to learn dutch, do yoga every day, and squeeze in some travel. And I have about 11 months to decide what to do with the rest of my life, or at least, what I'll be doing for the 11 months after that.
PHILOSOPHY
This came to me in the midst of an existential crisis: "when the fear of having never been born outweighs the fear of dying, you can find happiness." It makes no sense to some, but I find it oddly comforting. That, and chocolate. The dark kind.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I gasp in disbelief when people say they would never do something like this. I also get excited when I see Couchsurfing mentioned in books (See: What's Mine is Yours, Connected).
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've surfed in Spain and Romania, and met a lot of couchsurfers on the side. I can't wait to do it again, everyone I've met has been incredible.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love documentaries and comedies.
My music tastes are all over the place, but I am a big Yann Tiersen fan.
I'm a compulsive book shopper, to the point where I can't keep up with my addiction. I'm usually reading 5 books at the same time, in the fiction/social sciences/existentialism categories.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Walking 900 kms in one month
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to make paper frogs.
And feel free to practice your Spanish with me.
