Présentation
À propos de moi
CURRENT MISSION
To see as much of Europe as I possibly can.
ABOUT ME
I represent a lot of different places. Arizona is where I did most of my growing up, then I moved to Southern California to be a surfer girl, and finally I found the right place in Missoula, MT. Now I am studying abroad in Lyon, France for the year, attempting to learn the enchanting French language and expand my American outlook. Other than travelling and language, my interests are reading, writing, going out with friends and doing ANYTHING outdoors. Nature is my first love, and life outdoors is a very important part of my life. I like making friends with passionate and involved people who try and make a difference in our world.
PHILOSOPHY
Treat every living thing with respect, because we're on this planet together (I know this sounds sappy but it's true!)
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Participate in life? Well I strive to learn something new all day every day, and make a positive difference by living sustainably and being a happy person (which is hard on some days). I try to stay in the present moment and not drift off by daydreaming of the future or past.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Quite a lot! I've couchsurfed in France a lot, all with wonderful CSers and had a wonderful time. I've also done some couchsurfing in Cork, Ireland, which was also a memorable experience. And I'm a regular at the weekly CS meetings in Lyon- which always involve good people and good beer.
Centres d'intérêt
Being outside and enjoying nature, reading, writing, having fun with friends, food and coffee! Oh, and drinking too.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
My favorite movie that always cheers me up: Brigette Jone's Diary. I love the English's self-depricating humor! Also, foreign movies such as 2 Days in Paris, The Namesake, and Vicky Christina Barcelona. Basically any romantic comedy is good with me.
Music: Classic rock used to be my favorite, until I listened to it to much! Now I like Indie music that my friends listen to. Any thing except classical and country music.
As for books, that's hard to say. Eckhart Tolle's A New Earth change my life, but I also like fun books such as 1000 Days in Venice. I'm always reading something. Right now it's The Autobiography of Malcom X.
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
Skied off-piste with a harness on (as to avoid getting stuck in a crevass in case of falling) with my ski-enthousiast parents and brother.
Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
I can teach you the reasons I'm a vegetarian, if you want to know, tell you about the places I'm from and the people I've met. Most of my knowledge is general but relatively expansive, and maybe more focused in the area of environmentalism and sustainability. I like to learn about anything and everything, but if I think of anything in particular- I'll let you know!
