About Me

CURRENT MISSION

trying to enjoy every moment

ABOUT ME

The period of carefree student life is over now, my spare time has diminished radically lately. However, I am a person who cannot breathe without change and therefore I compensate stereotype of working days quite often with traveling. I come from a small village therefore I enjoy countryside and nature the most. I love seeing how different people live their lives around the world. Another passion of mine is food :) I love cooking, baking, making homemade products from my garden´s crops. I do change my computer for something more handy after work and during the weekends, siting behind the desk my whole life would kill me. But back-up plan is prepared, let´s wait for the break-even :)

PHILOSOPHY

I realized that the most beautiful moments in my life were those ones when I did not think. When I don't worry about the future, don't deal with the past, I am able to feel the world with the sence (not mind), like a child. My dream is to be lost in the present...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I offer a helping hand to people coming to Piestany or Slovakia in general - a cosy shelter, advice or a tourist guide myself :) I hope to find the same when travelling...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I experienced the first CS trip to Sweden in 2010 and it was amazing, staying at a hotel seemed boring afterwards :D Couchsurfing in Norway was the trip of my life, with so many great moments one can only wish for. Polish girls on the other hand showed me how does it feel to be host not a visitor, and hope there will be more people I could show my beautiful hometown to. Last experience, surfing in Hanoi showed me how it feels to find a ground under your feet when it seems you are lost in a unknown world.

Interests

Do not like wasting my time. Skating, playing hockey, riding a bike, hiking, reading a good book, cooking, photography etc. Whatever make me happy and alive at the moment.
