I started couchsurfing about 6 years ago out of curiosity to meet new people from all over the globe and showing them around in the beautiful vity of Bruges (where I then lived). Now 6 years later and after a year of moving around and settling in, I can't wait to pick it up again. No longer in Bruges, but in Antwerp now. Maybe not as cosy and touristy, but definitely more fun!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Through hosting I have met so many interesting people and got to know so much more about our planet and all the interesting people and cultures on it. I can't imagine not having couchsurfing in my life any more...

Interests

I try to fill my life meaningfully an less meaningfully through music, friends, travelling, doing stuff for the organisations I'm a member of, and trying to work off the good times by rowing

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably the most fascinating scenery I've seen was the altiplano in Bolivia. Bitter cold, dusty as hell and altitude sickness always just around the corner, but sometimes breathtakingly beautiful...

What I Can Share with Hosts

I don't know as much about Antwerp yet as I did about Bruges, but I'm starting to pick it up nicely (with a little help from my boyfriend who' been living here for about 8 years). So I can tell you a good deal about the city, the sights, the things to do...
And of course as good Belgians we know all about Belgian beer and where the good places are to drink one!
