I’ve recently discovered my love for travel. As a native New Yorker, I enjoy meeting interesting people from all over the world. I’ve only been to a couple of couchsurfing meet ups and so far it’s been a great experience.

I’ve heard about this website a few years back but I never knew much about it until a friend of mine mentioned it. I figured I’d give it a shot. I’ve only host one person so far and she turned out wonderful. It was such a pleasant experience!

I love to entertain and cook for my guests. I used to host a lot parties in my house and it’s always a warm and rewarding feeling chatting with friends and family over dinner or wine. I can share my knowledge of cooking Jamaican food which is where my family was originally from and still is my comfort food.
