ABOUT ME
I'm definitely a city girl always on the search for a new adventure. I love exploring Omaha on my bicycle or rollerblades. You can usually find me in Benson or the Old Market. Running, painting, yoga, trail running, hiking, and biking are some of my favorite hobbies. If it involves art or nature I'm going to be all about it. I teach yoga at Fontenelle Forest and do a lot of volunteer work out there doing trail maintenance and teaching adults and children about the forest.
PHILOSOPHY
Breathe. Simply breathe.
No matter what is going on around you, all you have to do is take a deep breathe and go within because everything is going to be alright. I am always looking for the positive in everything. There's always something you can smile about.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I keep pretty busy with work, volunteering, and school so I don't travel a lot right now but I love hosting fellow couchsurfers whenever I get a request that works with my schedule.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've couchsurfed in DC last year and had the best time. I've also hosted a number of people and have never been disappointed by anyone I've meant. Hearing their stories inspires me to learn more about the world as well as get out there and see it for myself.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm probably going to be obsessed with an band you'd see on a Warp Tour flyer. I never grew out of my high school love of alternative pop punk.
I love reading Paulo Coelho's stuff as well as local Omaha author, Rainbow Rowell. My favorite blogs include the bloggess, zenhabits.net, the minimalists, and Flourish in Progress. Anything that either is self-helpish based on living a happy, simple life or that just cracks me the eff up I immensely enjoy reading.
